Tight Security

Pro-Palestinian activists break into RAF base and 'vandalise' aircraft

Sir Keir Starmer has condemned pro-Palestinian activists who broke into a RAF base in Oxfordshire as "disgraceful".

Palestine Action targeted RAF Brize Norton and damaged two military aircraft in what the Ministry of Defence (MoD) branded an act of "vandalism".

So then, spite of my care and foresight, I am caught, caught in my security.

"The buck doesn't stop here" said Sir Mummy's Boy.

Vandalism? Damaging His Majesty's essential military equipment used to be an act of treason. Unless done by a foriegner, in which case it was an act of war.
Now we send Border Force and the RNLI volunteers to collect invaders and bring them safely to our benifience.
And Surkier wants to attack Russia.

Time to begin preaching the merits of de-escalation. That's sure to work

Just Stop Oil has been rebranded for marketing purposes.

dearieme - "and they should have had detailed contingency plans with a documented review schedule," added Sir Mummy's Boy.

decnine - maybe there just aren't enough photo ops for de-escalation.

Doonhamer - good point, it should be treason.

Anon - maybe "Just Stop It" would avoid the need for rebranding by being suited to any cause.

"Down with that sort of thing".
