A tale of woke woe. Hard to believe Jaguar marketing bods could see this as a good idea, but interesting as another indicator that woke madness may be on the wane.
No doubt the next insanity is being concocted in some university hothouse.
In a way, it's a bit odd that so much emphasis is actually placed on brands and image. But that's certainly the way it is, and if you want to play that game you need to know the rules, and be able to win. People's livelihoods depend on this stuff. This is like so much that is happening at the moment. It's as if most organisations that we knew about - people who actually got things done - have simply downed tools and are performing some embarrassing comedy routine.
Clearly only the far right racists will have a problem with this /s
That's probably how the upper levels of these companies see it though. It doesn't matter if they tank, because they were morally right and it was the racists what dunnit
Sam - yes it is odd and curiously unprofessional, as if those concerned have no notion of people who don't see the world as they do. Probably much more widespread than we might hope.
Bucko - that's it, you ought to see things as we do and if you don't we don't want your money even if we go bust. Very odd.
Motoring petrol heads have already left the brand, the company and its current models. Jaguar is not alienating anyone except a few classic car enthusiasts. The future is EV, hybrid and transfreakery.

DJ - a sound update, it's happening all the time.

Anon - which sounds like the end as others do EV and hybrid better and more cheaply with no brand advantage for Jaguar.
