When NK made statements like that a couple of years ago, Trump hit back with ridicule and abuse. Of course, that's the very worst thing he could have done. It's literally worse than war. What an ignorant braggart!
For some reason, though, the world seemed a little bit safer. Rocket-man Kim actually seemed to like it.
Dave - I don't think they intend to lob nuclear bombs about, it's all for internal show. "Look how powerful we are," is the message, but I think it's a message for the North Korean people only. Nobody else believes it.
Sam - and Trump was merely saying what everyone knows, the regime is ridiculous. It's what strikes me about Trump - the world did seem a little safer. It probably was too.
