I have written about it over on Broad Oak Magazine this week and have more than once mentioned with others in pieces over years, yet it takes a drought for the media to even question the fact stated, or the fact that the water companies are monopolies and take full advantage of their position.
Our depleted infrastructure in so many areas is coming home to roost now, oh and I have a comment from someone who must live in the outer Hebrides or is a troll.
Wiggia - you are right. The Broad Oak comment you may be referring gives a tiny reservoir as a recent example, not a major reservoir. In terms of litres per day, Carsington is about 200 times the size of that one.
Bugger off wiggia. I am neither a troll nor living in the Outer Hebrides - but, probably unlike you, I was once involved in the selling off of a water company's redundant assets so do know a little bit about the subject
