Easy to forget

It's too easy to drift away from these things and forget how sinister it all was, and how easily led so many of us are. Easy to forget clapping the NHS and the flags and slogans.

Its why unfortunately those responsible for the insanity and destruction wrought in the name 'safety' will never be held to account - too many ordinary people bought into it all, so in effect if the puppet masters were shown up as the idiots, frauds and shysters they were, the puppets would also be in the dock with them. And people won't be prepared to face that sort of cognitive dissonance. At best they'll just want to memory hole the entire 2 years, at worst they will be the sort who become hard line monomaniacs on the subject, demanding more masks, vaccines and lockdowns at the hint of any new rises in cases of sniffles. Their egos will never allow them to admit they were conned, that they got it totally wrong, and often behaved like utter c*nts towards fellow human beings.

Some I am convinced will be masked or have the even more useless visors for life, they are beyond redemption, still seeing lone drivers wearing masks in cars, the nudge unit did a good job if that was their aim.

We might be drifting away from these things, but there many who will try to prevent us drifting too far.

The NHS clapping and pots-and-pans thing is truly a puzzle to me. Looking back, it was as if we had reverted to Mediaeval rituals. In the future, beardy blokes will meet up to re-enact it at County shows.

I hoped the plastic screens in shops would have been ditched by now, but I guess they'll stay up for good when for the next scare comes along.

I think I'll order some more camping gas for our small cooker, as we'll probably be in darkness this winter!

Sobers - yes it's remarkable how many people refuse to admit that they have being conditioned to approve of what happened and move on. We know about conditioning but in the main it's seen as something which happens to other people or it's something weird applying to dogs but not people.

Wiggia - we still see quite a few wearing masks. I'm not sure what they think they are doing.

Sam - it is truly a puzzle to me too. I had to look out of the window when Mrs H told me that neighbours were doing it. At that time I'd assumed hardly anyone would do it. Yet at government level, the advice must have been that people would do it and they were right. Not a happy thought that.

Scrobs - oddly enough, this week I was thinking of buying more camping gas for our portable gas ring, and some candles.
