Rob Hersov on South Africa

I've posted two videos in a row here, which I usually avoid but this is an interesting and unusually forceful speech given by billionaire Rob Hersov last year. It concerns the continuing problem of South African corruption and what can be done about it.

Two young things in my family travelled in Africa a few years ago. They disliked RSA - an atmosphere of a perpetual threat of violence. They gave Zim a swerve. Disliked Zambia. ...

The two countries that seemed reasonably well run were Botswana and (can you believe it?) Rwanda.

dearieme - an old work colleague visited RSA a few years ago and noticed the same thing, a constant threat of violence in the atmosphere.
