Not drink, lunacy or practical joking

I don’t like games that make me feel a congenital idiot. But there was one that rather amused me. You invented a preposterous situation and the point was to explain naturally how it came about. Drink, lunacy and practical joking were barred as explanations

Cornish patsy?

I expect they'll turn him back at the border. Hopefully on a pole, covered in tar and feathers

I think anyone would want to go to Cornshire at the moment - it's freezing down here...

We always used to book our family hols in January, (pre-internet), and send away for all sorts of brochures, mainly to retain some sort of sanity.

Senora O'Blene usually made the final decision and was never wrong!

But she isn't in government - yet...

Sam - good one although I'll now have trouble pronouncing Cornish pasty. If I ever get to order one at a cafe I'll have to point.

Man Beach - and hopefully the pole will be inserted securely. Wouldn't want him to slip off.

Scrobs - it's freezing here in Derbyshire too. I blame global warming.
