Worst ever government - part IV

People in England who have been told to self-isolate through NHS Test and Trace could have their details shared with the police on a "case-by-case basis".

Forces will have access to information telling them if an individual has been told to self-isolate, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said.

But the British Medical Association said it was worried police involvement might put people off being tested.

As if we needed it, this is yet another reason not to use it.

If it's on a "case by case" basis, who decides, and on what criteria? Does someone in the NHS pass on the details if someone is called Moriarty or Goldfinger or somesuch?

Jannie - it is, although we aren't using it simply because we don't want to become entangled in bureaucratic incompetence.

Sam - it certainly sounds like a good reason to avoid NHS staff who might be easily offended.
