Blimey – who thought it couldn’t get worse?

Labour's Harriet Harman to run for Commons Speaker

Harriet Harman has confirmed she will run to become the next Commons Speaker.

The Labour MP and Mother of the House - the longest continuously-serving female MP - made the announcement after the current Speaker, John Bercow, said he would stand down by 31 October.

Ms Harman told BBC Radio 4's Today programme it was the Speaker's job "to ensure Parliament can have its say".

Bound to be 'impartial' with her old man, (somehow squeezed in on an all-female list, is she telling us something there), sitting there noshing his breakfast, lighting a fag and moaning about everything after we leave the EU!

Sam - or Anna Soubry. Too many horrific possibilities.

Scrobs - even on her own she just doesn't do impartial.

Wiggia - I agree but as long as voters vote for he she'll stick around.

Harrman supported perverts from the paedophile information exchange during the seventies in their quest to have the age of consent reduced and also reclassify sexual offences against children

the women is an absolute disgrace and in any normal country would be run out of parliament, infact she should have been run out decades ago, a warmongering/ defacto war criminal apologist for perverts

Anon - and yet it is easy enough for people to check this kind of information. Amazing that it doesn't seem to matter even today.
