Another shake of the head

Glastonbury Festival: Kendrick Lamar makes blood-soaked plea for women's rights in attack on abortion ruling

The rapper ended his festival-concluding set by chanting "Godspeed for women's rights" repeatedly after a performance of his new song Saviour during which fake blood had poured from an 8,000-diamond crown of thorns on his head.

We've seen this before - push the boundaries far enough and it becomes difficult to respond beyond a shake of the head before moving on. There is nothing to be gained by going into the details here because what is on display is crude emotional button pushing.

What we take away from it is that it can be done this way and will be done again. Unless we grow out of it - which we won't.

Never heard of him before this. He's not Hedy's grandson, is he?

According to the article, he's a Christian. Hence the crown of thorns and "Saviour" title, I guess. That's a tough gig, Jesus and the abortionists. It doesn't seem all that theologically astute.

Mind you, Welby hasn't spoken yet on RvW. It should be really interesting when he does. If he does, of course.

Sam - I've never heard of him before either - he seems to be well worth avoiding though. Yes, Welby on RvW should be most interesting, I hope he makes the effort.

The Woke Demons seem somewhat upset by the ruling. Perhaps if they stopped to study it, instead of just screaming about it, they might find that their assumptions are wrong.

However, they have helped the result by their immoral support for abortion up to 9 months. Not at 12 weeks or 16 weeks, but at birth: under their disgusting insanity, a perfectly formed baby may be killed just after it has been born.

Removing Roe vs. Wade may help to stop these murders.

Ed - just screaming about it does highlight how much thought they put into their viewpoints though. That's a thought - I wonder if their thinking is a series of mental screaming fits?

I'm always surprised that anyone with any sense thinks glasto is important.

Jon Snow epitomised the attitude of failure to grasp reality.

Sorry Old Chap - didn't realise you'd turned on moderation, so I've posted twice...

Good idea though, these nerds/oddities turn up from time to time...

Scrobs - Glasto baffles me even though I know it's what some people do. It sounds horrible, with no redeeming features whatever.

It's commercial spam rather than nerds/oddities, but I'll switch off the moderation if it subsides.
