I've watched this Bob Newhart clip a couple of times - it appeals to my sense of humour. Maybe it's also an amusing reminder that nutters walk among us and we'll never be free of them.

As per yesterday's blog post, I yearn for Whitty or Valance to veer into something like this during one of their appearances. It would make the world seem very much stranger, but somehow more reassuring.
microdave - conspiracy theorist is often an odd accusation, as if we are to assume that the elites don't talk to each other in private, pursuing certain ideas they may prefer to keep private. It would be amazing if they didn't do that.
James - no, Biden voters are the real nutters, although the dead ones are probably sane enough.
Sam - I know what you mean. If only such people would express some doubts, but they wouldn't be there if they were doubt prone.
Scrobs - it is the best line. Also "Don't go away... not that you would."
