New Year Resolutions

A little late but here are my New Year resolutions.

  1. Never vote for any mainstream political party in any election ever again under any circumstances whatsoever - or at least until well after Hell freezes over. If there are no worthwhile candidates not tied to a mainstream party then don’t bother voting.

Er – that’s it really. By far the biggest lesson of 2020.

May I introduce you to Mr. Starmer and Mr. Davey......?

You've made a perfect case for a box to tick, which says 'None of the above'.

If you were in the US though you'd definitely get Biden on that basis, so scrap that idea...

As a valued colleague, Mr H, I have changed my monica back to Scrobs, as there is another Michael somewhere out there, and, although he sounds like a decent chap, I'm not that Michael, if you see what I mean!

It was the lovely Lilith - aided and abetted by Tuscan Tony, who invented the monica, so I've reverted...

Just to confuse everyone even more, if I change my account to post on Scroblene, I use this name, as I like it, and everybody knows the story anyway...!

A DT Crossword solution to the above is available at any chemist, for the usual fee!

Sam - admittedly I'll be tempted when the time comes, but voting for Boris has been a lasting lesson for me.

Scrobs, Scroblene and Sen. C.R.O'Blene - you are all right, there is a strong case for a box to tick, which says 'None of the above'. Vote count for that one should be announced too.

If Laurence Fox and Nigel Farage get their acts together there's an alternative. Otherwise, it's abstain or spoil the ballot.

Longrider - an alternative party is my hope. The parties we have now are too old and are clearly not attracting people with something to offer.
