Not so far from the madding crowd
Today we had the bright idea of driving to a car park with a view - to catch some quiet moments away from the virus frenzy. Should be quiet on a dull day we thought, so we took our Kindles to pass an hour or so reading. When we arrived the place wasn't packed, but lots of other people had had the same idea. Of course they had.
It's the modern world I suppose. It is possible to get away from the crowds, but for anywhere attractive with a car park it is almost impossible.

Probably they were all self-isolating. A few days off from work, nothing in the supermarkets, they've cut the lawn, so let's seek out some uplifting solitude.
We're staying away from our libraries, and reading the stock of books we've built up from the local charity shops!
Mrs O'Blene has a lot of Kindle, but I managed to wipe a whole lot off when her Ipad crashed last year... I still can't work out how to get them back!

Sam - pretty much what we were doing apart from the days off work.

Sackers - and there are still suspicions that the serpents are intent on converting manna to gall.
