Trump triggers

I like the way this guy uses common sense and avoids overblown analysis. If you haven’t encountered him before he is a self-employed tradesman who started off as as house painter. His take on Obama and his acolytes is particularly apt.

...he is the very embodiment of the cool college professor... That professor was worldly and hip with an offhand grasp of culture and that whip-smart sense of humour that Jon Stewart later turned into a goldmine.

Not sure about the sense of humour but his point is interesting. Obama acolytes seemed curiously inclined to sit at his feet.

I've saved his site. This man does indeed talk a lot of common sense. Doing a manual job and having the time and energy left over to engage in political debate is creditable. Famously, the Guardian's Polly Toynbee tried it and failed miserably.

Excellent find, thank you. I've been thinking along similar lines recently: Trump gets under some people's skins. Even intelligent people simply lose their marbles and become irrational.

I hope to use your find soon, will credit you!

Sam - and Polly makes writing for the Guardian seem like a soft option in the way she cranks out the nonsense. She makes it seem formulaic and easy.

Sackers - they do lose their marbles and in such a revealing way too, as if their grip on those marbles was always shaky.
