Isn't Macron doing well?

source

The French "yellow vest" troubles will be analysed to death but it isn't easy to avoid the conclusion that ordinary people want more of a voice in what the elites hand down to them.

It isn't easy to avoid such a conclusion when here in Brexit land many are acutely aware that this is how the EU and global bureaucracies operate - the elites merely hand down their decisions and that is that. We have little enough feedback available to us now, but little enough is better than none.

One only hopes that the British government are watching, and thinking about that second referendum.

Macron has of course further riled the French people with the declaration he will start closing down nuclear power stations and indulge in the wests fantasy that wind power can do the job, this will of course raise energy prices further.

All so these globalists can virtue signal to one another, extraordinary times, the people are being sold out on various fronts all at the same time, the people of course pay for it all in more than one way.

Sam - I think they always intended to run a second referendum.

Wiggia - the people do pay for it all yet still seem wedded to the kind of party politics which perpetuates it.
