DJ - and much closer to real life than running very fast.
James - we see a version of that round here with electric ones doing speed trials.
As Labour believe that the North of England doesn't exist east of the Pennines, can see historic Mancunian events such as shin kicking or hoying the lard sandwich on the sporting menu.

Penseivat - sounds more entertaining than people running very fast. Lard sandwiches would defeat Ed Miliband though.
The 'Olympics' has been a fraud since they allowed professional 'athletes' to take part. It was so much more heroic when the likes of 'Eddie the eagle,' that poor black non swimmer (actually better swimmer than me bar far) the Jamaican Bobsleigh team took part. Many amateurs were very good. But all spoilt now.
Tony - I agree, professionals spoil it. We can't even be sure if they have used performance enhancing drugs. Yes, many amateurs were very good and that was enough.
