Our primary school sports day always included an Obstacle Race which I thoroughly enjoyed. My wife once wondered about making a gift to our university, subject to its holding a Principal and Deans' egg-and-spoon race every summer.
dearieme - a Principal and Deans' egg-and-spoon race would be fun because you could take bets on who was likely to hold the egg on the spoon with their thumb.
