Bonkers or waggish? Anyway it'll suit the old fashioned way of parking a bike using the pedal. Though someone would nick the bike, obvs.
dearieme - I suspect waggish but I wouldn't leave a bike there.
They should have painted the yellow lines over the car. Perhaps, then, the driver will not park on the pavement again.
Anon - pavement parking seems to have become the normal way of parking for many drivers. We saw lots of it when we used to do the school run, drivers running late and lurching up onto the pavement where there are little kids around.
