Biden’s climate envoy John Kerry tells workers who lost their jobs because of Biden's climate initiatives: "I don't understand the opposition,"
He may not understand the science but I'm sure he understands the opposition.
He may not understand the science but I'm sure he understands the opposition.

Oh, the science is easy enough. The USA has enough high-quality infrastructure in copper cable and switchgear, so that there are car recharging points outside every house, and hundreds outside every skyscraper. They have solved the problem of storing energy, so changes to the weather won't affect power distribution. They have electric cars and carbon-neutral boilers and air-conditioners which are easily affordable by the average worker.
Once people understand all that science, the opposition will just fade away...
Fracking? No, we, the proud USA, prefer to get our oil from Saudi
I'm sure he'll understand it all one day...
"I don't understand the opposition" they rarely do, today it is politics before practicality and the people they represent, or not in this case.
Sam - I'm sure that is part of the problem - it is easy for someone such as Kerry to gloss over all the costs, affordability and technical difficulties. It's an easy sell.
Graeme - yes, it really is loopy. Even if the ultimate effect is not that drastic, the US has to stop pandering to loons at some point.
Scrobs - he's so rich he doesn't need to. I'm sure that's part of the problem.
Wiggia - one major problem seems to be universities churning out millions of qualified, socially well-connected but impractical people.
