Sam - thanks - I'm okay on anniversary dates and birthdays fortunately. This time we'd been pondering for days what we might do without it being spoiled by the tedium of pretend precautions. Mediocre coffee in a disposable mug and a sausage roll as it turned out. Oh well.

I wonder what sort of "Chateau neuf du Pape" they got for that price! Algerian, no doubt, and imported in tankers.
