Light at the end of the Brexit tunnel?

Photo taken during our walk today. The track goes under an old railway tunnel and appears to be completely covered in thick, wall-to-wall mud. Actually it is mostly cow shit and at the end of the tunnel there was lots more of it.

I don't know why I thought of Brexit as we carefully navigated our way through. I'm sure a reason will come to me.

If I were you, I'd carefully check the gender of the excreting livestock. It may look like a cow, but it's often a load of old bull.

I had a long drive yesterday, and for my sins, heard the whole of 'The World at One', with all the pundits, all the usual bias etc.

Funnily enough, after listening to some of the comments by the various interviewees, by 2:00pm, I felt a bit more optimistic.

Yes, the remoaners will try and scupper it all, but the papers today are a good indication that they just might cock up their tactics and lose out.

I hope so...

If we get the 'deal' that no one voted for, we may as well remain, the costs are horrendous for us, all explained rather well here on John Wards blog.....

It is difficult to believe our representatives would go for that but then it is other peoples money and that has never stopped them.
There were opinions being expressed in parliament that they are "tired"and are caving in to this deal, good to know they feel something of what we all feel about the whole sorry charade, I hope the voters don't forget what they have imposed on us.

Sam - it certainly smelled like a load of old bull.

Scrobs - cocking things up seems to be one of their skills so you may be right.

Wiggia - I've read a number of views on the deal, none of which feel convincing. So much seems to rest on interpretation at the time and that lies in the future and seems to depend on vested interest pressure as much as anything else. It doesn't feel like a monolithic rule-based edifice.
