A missed opportunity?

The other day we were out walking and on two different occasions we passed a chap who looked very much like Jeremy Corbyn. Not the same chap but two presumed lookalikes on two different occasions.

Here’s the dilemma.

The precautionary principle suggests that I should have shoved both chaps into the river just in case either of them actually was Mr Corbyn. However I didn’t and now I’m left wondering if I don’t pay enough attention to the precautionary principle. A missed opportunity to try it out perhaps?

If it was Corbyn, he was probably working up the courage to jump in the river without your help.

If it was Corbyn he was probably wondering why the river wouldn't have him.

You could have tried the gambit, ‘Gerry sends his love and hopes you got the semtex.’

Sam - and the events of today suggest he may be edging nearer to the river bank.

Jannie - perhaps he'd find himself walking on water but not for the traditional reason.

James - he'd go red in the face and splutter.
