When a so-called ruthless plot for power is to be an unobtrusive back-bencher for decades and then accidentally get elected leader I think we can make a reasonable judgement on the reliability of the rest.

It's a fair point. But don't forget that Corbyn's Marxist ideology does not focus on gaining Parliamentary power; Marxists think it a bit of a side-show. He has spent his political career favouring single-issue causes, subverting the established Labour Party way of doing things via "Militant", cosying up to violent revolutionaries such as the IRA and Hamas, etc., and criticising capitalism at every opportunity. As a result, he has no coherent set of policies like other contenders for governmental office, which is what makes him look bumbling and clueless compared to those ambitious to be PM; and which would also make him a very dangerous and unprepared PM.
Sam - It is a fair point and maybe rather an odd title for the book, but I'm sure the guy who left the review was only interested in giving it the lowest possible star rating. It's strange though that whoever it was admitted that he/she has no intention of reading the book.
I downloaded a sample on my Kindle and initial impressions are that Corbyn fans won't like the book at all and a few more may be equally keen to give it one star. I'll probably buy it though - it already feels like five stars to me.
