dearieme - I don't have whatever the telegraph needs for online viewing, there is video on YT with Prof Hilary Cretin gushing away. It may be a clip from the BBC interview because she certainly gushes from what must be the silly end of the woke spectrum.
Today the Telegraph quotes the silly cow as referring to "our inability to really teach young people to be critical thinkers". Look in the mirror, love.
I do believe that if someone is employed based on the contents of a CV which contains deliberate lies and misinformation, the offence of Obtaining Pecuniary Advantage by Deception, which is, or was, a section of the Theft Act 1968. As a Police officer in late 1989, I arrested a man who had gained employment, using this tactic, with the local Social Services office. He was charged with the offence and found guilty. Penseivat
Penseivat - yes, it seems like an open and shut case to me. If he isn't prosecuted, we may as well assume it's the old two tier system operating, which would be no surprise.
