Pat McFadden said "the prime minister [has] acted in good faith" in terms of his appointment of Peter Mandelson as US ambassador and called for him to return his payoff.

Arguably the Mandelson affair is yet another U turn by Stumbler.

I'm reminded of musical chairs, faster and faster music, and fewer and fewer chairs. One day Stumbler is going to find no chair awaiting him when the music stops.

We may yet have to endure more 'turns' as there appears to be no obvious replacement, yet.

DJ - it may still be seen by many MPs as too early, too much time before the next GE. I've just posted a video about one possible replacement, but it's not someone I know much about.
