I'm sure some more, and better, research needs to be done in order to prove that the situation is more in line with political orthodoxy. It's very likely that the whales are being disorientated by the increasing pace of global warming, which will - eventually - be alleviated by the turbines. Meanwhile, a quick fix could be engineered by dumping millions of clapped-out car batteries and solar panels around our coastline, thereby preventing the whales from running aground.

Sam - that's a good idea. We could also include clapped out turbine blades as part of the Whale Friendly No-Beaching Barrier.
