Mildly interesting because it highlights Corbyn's habits of thought and the difficulty he has in adjusting to political views he does not share. He has his mantras and that is that. Again and again it is difficult to avoid the conclusion that the man is simply obtuse.

Also the level of political acumen and a sense of public perception. He already has a reputation as a friend of terrorists. Under the circumstances, you'd hope he would have the sense to just keep quiet; dodge the question, send someone else out to bat, or say something anodyne. He just hasn't got the brains to see it.
Sam - yes that's the odd part, he doesn't even have the sense to keep quiet or dodge the question. Yet he is always dodging questions in other contexts. As if he really does live in a world of his own.
