I'm not sure whether the "adult population" bit is all that relevant. It often appears to be written by intelligent misguided sixth-formers for thick misguided sixth-formers.
Sam - I only ever read the online comments - presumably the thick misguided sixth-formers.
There was once a newspaper called the Manchester Guardian which was quite good. Whatever happened to it?
Demetrius - yes, my parents used to buy it. The Guardian lost sight of its roots in my view.
