He is obviously making his bid for the Peerage. After all, it is either that or Europe when his party gets punished for being lying liars.
Sam - he is. Somehow it will emerge that dumped party leaders have right of entry to the Lords.
Well he was 'floored' when asked if he would refuse to accept a Peerage!
David - I missed that, but of course the answer is 'no'.
