Pfizer used to have a huge presence in Sandwich, and through work, I went there a few times to meet their building people.
This was all pre-Viagra, and a thought has just crossed my 'fertile' mind...
Because security was so rigorous, you used to park your car and walk up to some sort of single-person steel cage, which was rather like a turnstile for strait-jacket admirers.
You got into the cage, pressed a few buttons, and they checked you out before the gate swung inwards.
But, had you been on the Viagra panel, how on earth would you have got back out again...
They are already giving huge viagra doses to men over 80 who are comatose with the covid virus. It doesn't increase their chances, but nurses say it stops them rolling out of bed.
