I see Lord Prescott is off to the the Paris climate jolly in December. From the BBC we hear -
John Prescott is returning to front-line politics as an unpaid adviser to Ed Miliband with responsibility for climate change.
The former deputy PM will focus on trying to help a future Labour government seek agreement at climate change talks due to take place in Paris in December, Labour sources say.
Mr Miliband said in a tweet that Lord Prescott "knows how to knock heads together".
Surely an odd choice - sending a known buffoon on a mission to save the planet. Maybe he barged his way to the front of a long queue using his well-developed political elbows to snatch the plum before anyone else spotted it.
Or maybe not.

Stupid oaf, made into some sort of position by the blair bloke, who needed a silly old git to pan off the objectors.
Failed as a crime commissioner too - utterly useless, and so thick it isn't true!

Michael - I suppose Ed sees him as thick enough to push the climate scam.
I find it difficult to envisage Prescott in Paris. It would have to become Hull, or he would have to stop being Prescott for the duration.
Sam - it is difficult but as a seasoned trougher he'd probably surprise us.
I am a massive cynic, and my reaction was hmm Millipede is attempting to appeal to and appease old labour with this charade, and a charade is exactly what this stunt is.
Kath - I agree, it's a stunt to gather in a few old Labour voters. Whether it's a good idea to present Prescott as a climate bod I'm not so sure.
