Gardening in a changed climate - update

A little over two years ago I wrote a post on our visit to Severn Trent's Carsington Water visitor centre and its drought-resistant garden. As you know, global warming means we should prepare for droughts and plant accordingly. We revisited the place recently so I took another photo to keep tabs on progress.

OE - but is it art?

Mark - corporate cynicism? ST doesn't want and probably doesn't expect major droughts.

Mac - spread it out on the garden before getting stuck in?

I think the latest "consensus" (tm) is for the UK to get wetter in a warming world. However, that consensus will no doubt change again in short order.

Graeme - I think the consensus is that whatever hits the weather headlines will get worse.
