Protein-based therapy

COVID-19: UK approves Novavax protein-based vaccine for over-18s to tackle 'next phase' of pandemic

The Novavax vaccine was found to be more than 90% effective against a variety of variants, including Delta, in a US trial last year, with data in December suggesting it could also fight against Omicron.

This is protein-based therapy too.

It's amazing what they can do with tofu these days, isn't it?

Why do people overrate steak so much?

Americans seem particularly prone to it. When I first visited the steaks were awful: the buggers didn't hang the meat. Maybe they hang beef now and are still astonished at the improvement?

This new so called medicine should be compulsory for all veggies and vegans, to top up their protein intake. You could call them a control group in the human trials.

Sam - and Photoshop.

dearieme - I think well-hung steak is fairly easy to buy these days, but we find we have become more choosy about it over the years. It's either good or no good at all. So much so that we haven't tried it for some time now. Fish and chips are more reliable.

Andy - I'd be happy enough with less nagging about what we eat.

'next phase'? Will they ever admit the game is up?
