When we took the kids to Filey Beach on Boxing Day fifty years ago, we lived just up the road, we told them we were going to sun bathe and also have a nice dip in the sea. They still complain about it.

Demetrius - only yesterday we were talking about people who do take a dip on Boxing Day and how grim it looks from the sidelines.

That's actually a great, well composed photograph Mr H.

The crane and the spire...

Really nice!

Scrobs - thanks. It was there and I did a bit of point and shoot but I'll admit to being pleased with the result.

A K Haart,
And don't forget how the view to the south has been so greatly enhanced by the addition of those windmills...

Mac - we saw them but they weren't turning at the time. A great earner for the landowner, not so good for the rest of us.
