It bears a horrible resemblance to something I unwillingly ingested some years ago in a McDonald's (long journey, appalling traffic jams and no other nearby source of sustenance - never again!); it purported to be fish but gave the distinct impression of chewing on a scouring pad of dubious vintage encased in a damp, clammy bath-sponge.
However, to my (very reluctant) recollection, my (alleged) comestible was accompanied by a sort of wallpaper paste claiming to be tartare sauce, while your illustration shows mustard, so I am probably way off target.

Sam - it certainly looks like it. A disposable applicator and cheerful yellow adhesive - sounds like a good idea.
Macheath - sounds like a similar experience to ours. I didn't realise that the wallpaper paste is tartare sauce but it must be. I thought it might be Universal Mayo.
Mac - probably okay without the "cheese" and the "tartare sauce". Not sure about attempting two though - one was enough.
Sackers - spot on - Filet-O-Fish. I like the sound of your no. 2 though.
Doonhammer - I had Lorne sausage in a bap when we visited St Abb's Head - delicious.

Is it a new type of adhesive applicator for use with tiles? A prototype from Homebase or B&Q, perhaps?
