Is it me or is the internet particularly shrill at the
moment? I suppose Brexit and Trump have rattled some comfortable cages but I never expected such a protracted bout of anguished screeching from the comfort
zones. Presumably it is almost impossible for the web to go completely bonkers.
Almost.

It's shrill. Right first time.
I have been resisting the urge to delete people from my facebook page for quite some time. Brexit and the presidential election in America have brought out the worst in people, especially those that were on the losing side.
I see the behaviour as toxic...
Interesting site for real news is BiasedBBC, especially as the comments are reasoned (mostly) and give the opposite views of any BBC journo, which are probably the correct ones to take! That's usually enough for me!
Luckily I don't use Twitter or Bookface, although Linkedin, like a wart, is difficult to eradicate completely...
Oh, and my favourite gardening Allotment Website doesn't allow 'shrill', so we all talk about things 'closer to the ground' - ha ha ha, my little joke...
Demetrius - and they are even less charming.
James - like political tinnitus.
Cherry - I found it weird to discover that people I know can have such an intolerant outlook.
Scrobs - I used to read BiasedBBC, but as I don't watch the BBC I'm never quite sure what the posts are about.
