I'm a bit under the weather at the moment. It feels like a touch of bubonic plague with various complications, although my better half says I have a cold.
Blogging may be a bit erratic while the leeches and hot poultices do their stuff, but I'd be astonished if you notice the difference.

Sorry to hear that. Try and catch up on some daytime telly, Loose Women, Jeremy Kyle, Homes under the Hammer, that sort of thing.
It's all that walking on chilly Derbyshire hills.
Look after yourself, and get well soon.
Sorry to hear you are Tom 'n Dick. A cold is reckoned to last 6 days with pills n potions and 1/2 dozen without.
Bad luck!
Whisky toddies at regular intervals is my prescription; it may not help the cold but it makes the daytime TV easier to cope with.
Thanks everyone - I'm up and about now - a single dose of daytime TV has cured me!
Strangely enough, I have also procured a dose of man flu over the last 2 days. May I recommend a daily dose of Sherlock Holmes on ITV3 with the brilliant Jeremy Brett as the eponymous riddle-solver?
R - man flu? It was bubonic plague I tell you!
I watched one of Brett's Sherlock Holmes episodes the other day. I like his take on the character which brings out his oddities very well.
Brett was a very masterly Holmes. The Granada series with Jeremy Brett is one of the best adaptations of Sherlock Holmes ever.
Have you read the book "Bending the Willow: Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes" by David Stuart Davies. This book is a must read for fans of the Granada adaptation and/or Jeremy Brett.
Cheers!
buddy - he was. I think he captured Holmes' oddities and genius without the remote austerity which Rathbone seemed to bring to the role.
