I can see lots of potential benefits here. Will he have to go and live in America? Will he have to concentrate on difficult time-consuming tasks which leave him little opportunity for public pontificating? Will he learn about the real world of business? Will he have to censor himself? Will he have image-coaching to stop him coming across like a pretentious immature public-school wastrel who thinks he knows better than us?
If the answer to any of these questions is "Yes", then I wish him a long and fruitful career.
Not sure whether Facebook ever actually started, but with a vacuous twerp like Clegg doing a Miliband and trying to become interesting in the US, I'd be surprised if he'll ever learn what commercial expertise is all about.

Sam - good point. I suppose there are two desirable possibilities, he drops out of sight or is educated by real life. Or indeed both.
