Bloom is amazing. And the fact that he is so amazing and rare is quite worrying. I especially like the idea that we need good memories of good books that we have read. Probably the same goes for lots of other areas of life, too.

Sam - yes the fact that he is so rare is worrying although I'm not sure how rare. The internet seems to be highlighting how misleading the mainstream media have been in that people worth listening to are avoided and maybe there are more of them than we yet know.
