During yesterday’s school run we passed a marijuana
raid. Only a semi-detached house so it wasn’t large scale. Police
officers were humping large plastic bags of marijuana plants into various
vehicles.
Not an unusual occurrence these days, but Mrs H and I had much the same thought as we drove by. How odd it is
that somebody grows something and somebody else comes along and forcibly pulls it up. There are
reasons of course - there are always reasons. Many of us live on reasons. Must be some kind of drug which dulls the critical faculties.

It is the fact that this is so common in unlikely places that makes one laugh, we had it in our last property in a small village a detached house that would not sell, so it was rented out.
One day when passing I remarked about the condensation on the windows and a couple of days later saw a couple of Vietnamise as it turned out walking down the same road, very odd for that part of the world, two weeks after that the place was raided and all was revealed.
But above all was the damage caused to the rented house so much had to be replaced it was almost a total rebuild, this is apparently now common in remote villages using orientals as the fall guys.
Mr H/Wiggia; this Vietnamese growth calls for a 'pot noodle'....
(coat applied for)...
I assume that the rozzers in question are called The Flowerpot Squad?
Should do a post on cannabis.
Wiggia - I don't know the details, but the house we saw being raided is now boarded up and it certainly looks neglected.
Scrobs - we've had one or two local cases involving Vietnamese people who just seem to be the stooges most likely to be caught.
Demetrius - Bill and Ben deal with Little Weed. Pretty big weed in this case.
James - another one?
