MPs' EU referendum stances

source

From the BBC is an interesting chart showing MPs' declared EU referendum stances. The Labour party appears to have the most extreme stance, but given their leader that may be no great surprise. Not much scope for internal debate is there?

So far a selection of chancers, dorks and terminally dim have broken ranks. The rest are hanging on to their chairs - where else do the unskilled get £74K + exes. But a long way to go and the propaganda war has hardly warmed up. The yawning has started already.

Then it will be interesting to see how the media campaign shapes up. I suspect there will be much roaring for 'out' until the last knockings (if only to create sales and publicity) followed by - 'er actually in would be better'.

After June there will be endless whining from the losers, a few heads will roll but by 2017 economic reality will prevail and we will scarcely know whether the answer had been in or out. In 2020 election time and we will wonder what happened in the previous 5 years - nothing much I reckon.

Interesting, could it be that while the Labour MP's are for Remain, most of their voters are for Leave? Is Cameron about to miss yet another boat?

Roger - I agree, I don't see much difference either way.

Demetrius - is it a boat Cameron could ever board though?
