Missing Merino

Great - Decathlon appears to have 100% Merino wool T-shirts for women...

...except they aren't 100% Merino wool.

I suppose the lesson is to read carefully. The wool is 100% Merino, the T-shirt isn't.

The college where I work proclaims itself as a "no-smoking college". Because that's what goes down well with the more middle class, health conscious parents. It realises, however, that it would lose large numbers of freedom-seeking students to other colleges if it completely banned smoking. So it's "no smoking", except in the designated areas, which it keeps quiet about.

Sam - seems remarkably tolerant for a college. Aren't smokers usually vilified in such places?

Absolutely not. School-leavers see smoking as a very important issue of status, and management would be daft to penalise its customers in that way.

There are, of course, furtive little messages about help for staff who want to give up. I think they have to do these, to win some "Investors In People" award, or somesuch.
