Starmer: I’m not going anywhere and Rayner has a lot to offer
Sir Keir Starmer has said he expects Angela Rayner to play a “leading role in this Labour Government” despite his former deputy’s criticism over the direction of the party.
The Prime Minister insisted the ex-Cabinet minister had “a lot to offer” and expressed regret about her resignation last year after a row over her underpayment of stamp duty on a new property...
But asked whether he was “going anywhere,” he said: “No. I intend to be judged at the next election on what I’ve delivered for the country.”

Stumbler works hard to keep all his political competitors onboard. A promise here, a Cabinet job there, a chairmanship of a committee... It's a shame that this juggling leaves no spare concern for other matters, like guiding a country through difficulties.
Doesn't matter who is nominal leader of the scum party.
Whoever it is will be a Fabian socialist who hates the English with a passion.
They want nice ignorant savages who can always be trusted to vote for robbing whitey.
DJ - yes it's odd that he works so hard at keeping his political competitors close. As if he really thinks he can go on and on and eventually things will work out for him. Maybe it's the size of his majority telling him that.
Mike - yes we'll get another Fabian socialist. Even if the next leader isn't a member, it won't make any difference, Fabian hold on the party is always there.
