If the water is fizzy and it has ice and a slice of lemon it is particularly palatable. Or ice and a cordial - I like Elderflower and also Dandelion & Burdock.
Or, if it's haggis for dinner, a splash of - say - Islay Mist. (Half-a-hundred other good'uns are available.) But no ruddy ice!

dearieme - we like fizzy water, or still water with a slice of lime, not keen on ice though, even in hot weather.
