For me, Starmer is an unholy mix of Maillardet’s Automaton and the plastic animatronic shark from ‘Jaws’ - it’s something about the slab-like face (heavily botoxed?) and the cold, dead eyes.
Macheath - yes he has an odd face where facial expressions don't add much animation. I remember you mentioning Botox in an earlier comment and since then I've assumed it could explain his appearance, either that or he doesn't have much in the way of normal emotions.
It's mildly surprising that more Labour voters don't realise he isn't on their side because doesn't manage to hide it at all.
