  1. Arguably Starmer has won Tony Blair's 'fourth term' as Prime Minister, just as poor Joe Biden won Barack Obama's 'third term'.

It would seem that resurrection is a feature of modern politics. I wonder if David Cameron will become the new Conservative leader? He's wet enough.

  2. DJ - yes it's already looking like Blair's fourth term. Amoral bandwagon politics from the off doesn't look good.

Cameron's hat could be in the ring for a new Conservative leader. Interesting times unfortunately.

  3. Safe Place to Invest is a big claim. Much of the rest of her speech was about "Crowding In" investment, a process otherwise called Arm Twisting.

  4. Instead of sending Barclaycard some money this month, I decided to sort things out by telling a group of wrong 'uns that some women can have penises, shedding crocodile tears over Gaza, and putting a little windmill in our front garden. Then I went out into the street and gave some doctors some money for not working.

All to no avail, however. Barclaycard just sent me another reminder, saying that I now have to pay more interest, and that things are going to get worse unless I pay.

  5. decnine - and sometimes the arm twisting comes with huge sweeteners, the huge sweeteners being huge amounts of our money.

Sam - it's 180-degree-turn politics or "do as I do, not as I say".

  6. After only a few days, the news gets worse with that b*****d poking his nose in again.

As Sam says, Strummer's already a puppet, like O'Biden is!

  7. Scrobs - didn't take long did it? Like vultures waiting for their turn at the carcass.
