It really is an utter disgrace that feeble-minded people are able to get this far in the public sphere. They belong way down around parishes or even lower.
Am re-reading Brian Fagan's "The Long Summer". He says that climate and weather never have been stable and never will be. What is going on now is just another passing phase. Much of the time has been very cold. Now where are my old Army socks?
