Climate systems are dynamic and interact with many other processes. Should we 'go back' 100 years? 1,000 years? To when the continents were in an earlier arrangement and 'the poles' were equatorial?<br /><br />We could, I suppose, cover the Artic sea with polystyrene panels to reflect more sunlight back into space, but what if this caused the Amazon basin to dry up? Or the creation of vast amounts of polystyrene could produce pollution elsewhere... <br /><br />There are worthy goals and there are pipedreams.
