It would appear that some lunatic (not a pun, honest) ideas are difficult to shake. So if the Moon is plasma the laws of gravity are wrong seems like the plasma tail wagging a huge and bulky dog.
DJ - it's odd when ideas are this extreme, yet there are people who take personal ownership of some very flaky ideas. Perhaps lunatic ideas help us in our assessment of better ones.
