Because of her Alien (The filum) resemblance she has gone through life being alienated. Therefore she hates humanity. This was all her revenge. Imagine her moving in for a kiss? Her orthodontist wishes to remain anonymous.
Tricky stuff faith. I'm cautious about any really devout person in a position of political authority, for any faith. They march to the beat of a different drum and expect you to keep in step.
dearieme - some public performers say they are never comfortable doing what they do, maybe she's one of those.
Doonhamer - I can't imagine her moving in for a kiss, although I can imagine her crunching through bone to get at the marrow.
DJ - I'm cautious too, they do march to the beat of a different drum but that includes devout political convictions. It's a problem with parties, they attract people with political convictions which are too strong for pragmatic decision making, people who are willing to make enemies of the other side and sections of the voting population.
Talking of bloody socialists, Sir Greased Piglet now talks about "our flag". But we all know what that means:
The people's flag is deepest red, It shrouded oft our martyred dead, And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold, Their hearts' blood dyed its ev'ry fold.
Then raise the scarlet standard high. Within its shade we'll live and die, Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer, We'll keep the red flag flying here
dearieme - Starmer is weird like that, he says idiot things which are not only absurdly false in their political references, but are so easily ridiculed like his flag comment.
As if someone who put him there with that mysterious £700k has realised what a mistake it was and now feeds him with obvious rubbish.
As someone who suffered her 3 year reign of Terror, I was so glad when she realised the end was nigh and bailed out. The NZ Labour Party suffer from the same delusions as the UK one , If it moves tax it and if it doesn't move tax it. About the only difference is that so far they don't yet want to destroy the farmers, I expect that is to come.
Laura Dodsworth ( https://www.thefreemind.co.uk/p/was-keir-starmers-latest-speech-written ) suggests that there is a 75-80% chance that Starmer's Renew Britain speech may have been written by AI.
Maybe yes, maybe no. But would you vote for somebody that was unable or unwilling to speak for themself?
John - as with people like Corbyn and Starmer, Jacinda Ardern is one of those people who suggests that many voters are far too dim to deal with practical politics. Nothing can be done about it in a democracy except wait for the problem to dawn on them.
DJ - interesting but not surprising, although I'd expect AI to do better than that. We are bound to wonder if Starmer knew and downgraded it to his wooden style or if or he didn't know and his speech writers assumed he wouldn't be able to tell anyway.
